Fir-Rebbiegħa jiftħu l-fjuri
Il-ġnien mimli kuluri.
Is-Sajf jasal b'ħafna sħana
Bil-vaganzi t-tfal ferħana.
Fil-Ħarifa jaqa' l-weraq
Tibda x-xita jibda l-beraq
Tigi x-Xitwa kesħa w bard
Jidlam kmieni, jisbaħ tard.
